With editing and polishing this book could have been a wonderful book to read. But, sadly the grammar and errors it contained distracted from the story making it very difficult to stay with the flow, to enjoy what sounded like a wonderful hike and to really get to know the characters deeply. I am disappointed to say the least because I love stories of the AT and this one just didn't cut it. My suggestion to the author is to have a professional editor go through it, clean it up and republish.Product details

Very interesting reading about the personal adventure of walking the Appalachian Trail.
This book is awesome! It's written with such excitement that you feel like you're on the trail with her. The curisoty keeps you reading and not want to lay the book down! Good job Jamie....! Congratulations!!!
A beautifully written book with raw emotion that kept me wanting more! I loved how the author went into great detail during the story, it was as if we were there living this time in her life with her! It kept my attention the whole time, so much so that I found myself having a hard time putting it down! I would definitely recommend this feel good love story again & again!
I had a hard time putting this book down! It really made me want to drop everything and experience the Appalachian trail! Also it was nice reading her overcoming all the obstacles on the trail and in her private life, GO JAIMIE!

I love to read books about hiking the AT, but I do not love to read about having sex on the AT. Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy how they met and fell in love but not the descriptive horny & sex scenes. After the second sex scene, I skipped toward to end just to see how it ended. The spelling & grammar to me was secondary to that. Some may disagree with me but if I wanted to read a romance novel, I would have bought one!
